About Larry
Larry grew up in Welland Ontario, a small town bordering Niagara Falls. From an early age he dreamed of being a hypnotist. Just kidding! Does anyone really grow up dreaming of being a hypnotist? He did however get his teaching degree and went on to become a successful high school teacher.
It was during his teaching career that Larry first got introduced to hypnosis. One of Canada’s finest hypnotists was coming to his school to perform. After seeing the show he was totally amazed and knew that he had to learn more about hypnosis. After studying with several organizations Larry quickly became a certified hypnotist.
He now performs his comedy hypnosis show across North America. He was the house hypnotist for The House of Comedy in Niagara Falls for several years. He has performed for high schools, colleges, comedy clubs and corporations.
Larry has also recorded several audio programs for self-help such as “Lose Weight Now” and “Quit Smoking”. In addition, he is the author of the book “All About Hypnosis”. Although he can perform hypnotherapy his true joy comes from stage hypnosis. “I love performing stage hypnosis. Having the ability to bring laughter to an audience is a great feeling.”
Larry currently resides in Erie Pennsylvania.

The Larry Meginnis Comedy Hypnosis show is a fast paced energetic show filled with laughs. Watch in amazement as volunteers are put into a relaxing hypnotic state and then presented with suggestions to act upon. They will ride imaginary roller coasters, go on a tropical vacation and much more. Larry can even make himself invisible to the participants. It’s a show you have to see to believe. The results are never predictable but always hysterical.
Larry never chooses his participants; he only accepts volunteers. He will tend to the safety and dignity of his volunteers throughout the show. Larry can provide a show that is filled with laughs without embarrassing his volunteers. Those who volunteer will have the most fun!

Power of the Mind Show
The Power of the Mind show has two parts.
During the first part Larry will show the audience how powerful your mind can be. Larry will attempt to change the way people perceive things. He will inspire his audience to think bigger, be more productive and live a better life. For students, his goal is to have them want to succeed in school. He will also encourage them to follow their dreams beyond school in work and life. For the corporate audience Larry can help motivate people to become more productive. He can help them manage stress and be happier in life.
In the second part of the show Larry will perform a shortened version of his comedy hypnosis show.
